The Original Oil Painting, The Impermanence of Storms, strikes on two very important facts. One, as you can tell from the name, is the temporary reality of any challenge or obstacle, no matter how large it might seem. The piece even shows the clear air of light above the storm as well as the unique color that we embody below. The challenge, or “Storm” in this case actually play a huge role in coloring out past and our identities and it also helps to reflect the light and how bright we can shine when we rise above it.

The second realization through gazing into this piece is the way the storm appears darker and bigger  the closer it gets.  Just like anything we hope to overcome, it may seem like an unimaginable for up close, but the further back it get the more it is transformed into the color and light itself. Both of these spiritual beliefs are extremely powerful in helping us to reach our true purpose and work through anything that might come our way.
