The Sunset Landscape Sky Oil Painting, Impressionist style, is an homage to my ever growing love for clouds and the sky. An Alla Prima (At Once) piece, capturing the fleeting beauty of passing nature. I love skies, clouds and the colors they bring out. So, I do my best to share that experience we all get when we are lost in a beautiful sunset, in oil form. It is always a challenge to capture the subtle golden oranges, pinks, blues and purple that the beauty of nature brings out. But, if you don't attempt to capture what is blessed before you, you may never see it again.

May this piece serve a reminder to look up and see the wonderful expression of life that is shared with us all. I live in Pa, where, quite often, it is cloudy and dreary. However, with this piece on my wall, I get a wonderful glimpse back into the majestic beauty of the sky on those perfect days. And with this sunset landscape sky oil painting, I believe I have captured that essence. For it never ceases to take me back to that moment. So, until you grab it for yourself, I will use it to carry warmth when I gaze upon it. Hoping one day it will offer the same to another.
