Sunset Landscape Sky Oil Painting Impressionist style piece is an homage to my ever growing love for clouds and the sky. An Alla Prima (At Once) piece, wet on wet style, capturing the fleeting beauty of passing nature. I love skies, clouds and the colors they bring out. So, I share that experience, in oil form. It is always a challenge to capture the subtle golden oranges, pinks, blues and purple that the beauty of nature brings out. But, if you don't attempt to capture what is blessed before you, you may never see it again.

May this piece serve a reminder to look up and see the wonderful expression of life that is shared with us all. I live in Pa, where quite often it is cloudy and dreary. However, with this piece on my wall, I get a wonderful glimpse back into the majestic beauty of the sky.
