The Rich Jungle Falls Oil painting is inspired by the co-love and appreciation of the rain forest by Oil Painter Andrew Gaia and Nature Photographer Visual Eutopia, instagram found here, https://www.instagram.com/visualeutopia/ . Many of us feel a strong connection to the forest and natural wild of the world, even though we are not always able to see it. However through photography and artistic creation, we are able to transport those open to this magical world, directly to these places of inspiration.

In this piece, a deep rain forest waterfall is captured as it flows over twisting and tangling roots. The lush green forest floor is full of growth, as well as decay, bringing in a harmony of green and reds that makes every leaf feel as if it's brimming with life. The sunlight finds its way through the thick plant life and disperses into the water below. A brilliant green and blue color then reflects through the water to create a beautifully subtle spectrum of color in the turbulent pool. A breathtaking result.

I aimed to capture all the wonderful blends of color and light that bounced through Visual Eutopias fantastic photograph. With every brush stroke, I imagine my oil paint was like another leaf falling onto the forest floor. As these strokes layered and supported one another, they adapted, blended and merged to become a rich and deep visual experience. The entire scene seems almost unreal, yet at the same time, opens our hearts and mind into the wonderful world of the tropical rain forest.
