The Lilac Path oil painting captures that amazing feeling of renewal and spring that catching the sweet aroma can give. I simply love the smell of Lilacs, a scent I have known since childhood explorations through my neighbors yards. It always came as a surprise, and still does to this day, any time I happen upon this blossoming flower.

Lilacs and their scent signal the time of year that sparks the most potential, the most drive and the most excitements for what's to come. This original painting even more captures that feeling with the addition of the little dirt path that meanders its way through the white, pink and purple lilacs. its as if nature itself is calling us forward and letting our senses know, that what is to come will be beautiful and wondrous in every way.
