Looking back at this old pencil sketch. I wanted to try out some new rendering skills with pencil, since it has been such a long time. I love the way the design came out but I think I want to go back and paint over her. It always a good thing to go back to simple tools to for the brain to see more core design principles. Even with a simple old sketch like this. Often we get so caught up in all the fun and experience that fancy tools bring we forget things boil down to understand form and being able to translate that on paper.
