Surprise Rainbow
You know, it has been a long time since I can remember seeing a rainbow. I was out basically all day, the weather was horrible, everything was grey and cold and nasty. My task, that was supposed to take 1.5 hours ended up taking 4, of course lol. Just one of those days… it happens. But then when I was finally done and on my way home to put out the next set of fires XD, I saw it. A Rainbow, and not just a normal one but like a giant rainbow, it took up like half the sky. It was so cool and so colorful and I just got lost staring as all the variety in it. Then surrounding it I see all these beautiful beams of light coming through the clouds. It was just perfect for that moment. A nice little recalibration after the monring of tension and blehhhh. But it just reminded me of how some of the most beautiful things come from some of the darkest places. Once the clouds part, the warmth of the sun finds its way through, the color of life shines all on its own. Man I love nature lol such a dork ahahaha
The Lotus
Have you ever had the chance to smell a lotus flower? They are some of the sweetest and most brilliantly smelling flowers that I have ever come across. I can see why they inspired so much in ancient cultures. Here is this delicate, sweet, multidimensional little blosson of life that can catch anyones eye and draw out such warm feelings. But its origins are in the darkest and most cloudy, mucky environment. No one would ever suspect that it started its journey deep beneath the shadows, pushing its way slowly through layers and layers of debris and decay. But, through the natural drive of life, it finds its way through, it reaches up towards the light, it expands through the expanse of water and finds itself on the sparkling surface of the aqua world. But not only that, it still has the most amazing ability to pull from all that it came from, to tranform its origin into the sweetest smell and soft colors one could ever imagine. It is just one of those amazing little living being of life that do astounding things, even when not everyone knows how to see it for what it really is.
The First Wives Club
Wanna know something kind of funny, when I was younger I loved this movie XD. Something about it just hit me the right kind of way and I haven no idea why. It was funny because my moms friends would come over and be like ohhh I love this movie, then they would turn around and there I am eating it up like its my favorite thing in the world. Theyd be all like “oh….you like this?” hahaha and I really did. But c’mon, this song alone is like so amazing. Just when it plays in my head walking down the street, going through the crowds, shopping for whatever, I just start moving like every step is an expression of joy and fun and freedom. Sometimes I worry about what I look like in public when im off in my own little world, but then I remeber…. I am smiling and skipping and swaying with life. Who cares what they think, and more often then not, when they talk to me they ask me how to be the same XD.
