The Facility | Science Fiction Post-Apocalyptic Landscape

This Sci-Fi facility Poster was the collaborative efforts of artist Andrew Gaia and writer Zach Gamble, for the Snow Towns Book Series. Zach wanted a few world building illustrations, so that he could better imagine the scenarios he was developing for his book. Now I don't always do post-apocalyptic scenes, but when I do, I really love to push the atmosphere. I mean hey, there's not really much else left in those worlds anyway.

However, I was able to add in a bit of color with the clouds and electrical defense systems found within the illustration. This makes for an eerie combination of dark and sterile sci-fi subjects, with somewhat awe inspiring toxic sky. Such a cool piece to add a little color to what might be usually seen as a totally dark and dreary sci-fi world.
